Chef's Cotton is a 100% unbleached cotton Sarashi fabric, known for its beautiful ecru color and natural, soft texture.
This is a very reliable and safe fabric.
This fabric is made without any chemical adhesives (PVA), bleaching agents, fluorescent whitening agents, or chemical dyes. It has undergone an advanced scouring process to remove adhesives and oils.
It's great for cooking.
It's reusable for kitchen use, making it eco-friendly.

It's an unbleached, natural fiber fabric. Due to this, it has cotton husks (neps), which are characteristic of natural cotton.
The color is ecru, and it is a very natural fabric.
What are Neps?
Neps are the small, natural specks and knots you see on the surface of our fabric. They are not a defect but a sign of unbleached, natural cotton. Neps give the fabric its unique, rustic, and authentic texture.

When you make Japanese soup stock, use this fabric as a substitute for filter.
For straining dashi stock, please use this cloth as a strainer.
As a draining cloth for raw vegetables, etc.
